Traveling With French Driving License In Uk

travelogue

Good morning Ladies and Gents.

After our little excursion England went well last week actually now here's a little review .... with photos;)

After leaving Vienna in my opinion, inhumane early times (8 clock in the morning ...) then it was to early afternoon in London and even walked on Baker Street. Unfortunately we had here but not much time for it was still a bus to catch the Oxford hostel now had to be checked in yet.
Thus, then reached in the early evening hours, the ultimate goal. Quickly were a few things packed into the room and one was already on its way back into town (big enough not the Oxford one does not are more or less the middle of it would be) at once to look for pubs and dinner. A plan of actually quite successful in doing so ended the us inscribes a bartender with enthusiasm various museums and other attractions on a map. And lo and behold ... the MHS was only 100 meters away from the pub where we had it made us comfortable. Well, at least until midnight. The English have especially long in clubs and bars will not yet open.

Day 2: Freshly rested and with almost a clear head, it was now in a day as much as possible to accommodate the program. to walk alone through Oxford already resembles a museum visit. Especially when you again and again by bars street names and the like recalled what great authors have not all found their inspiration. But time is short ... and there was hunger, too. On a market where you are still unable to obtain the same with a bunch of souvenirs. And then it was too slow again this afternoon. Time to visit the exhibition because of what we actually arrived.

MHS: Small is beautiful is a really apt description. Great is really not the museum. But I've never been on 3 floors spread such a large collection of scientific instruments across the world seen through history. But first, down into the cellar where the Steampunk exhibition was set up. As expected, This also rather small. From the photos on their website they knew most of the exhibits. But despite all it was something completely different can they appraise at once from the nose length. Followed, the whole of a room with real technical devices from the appropriate period of time.
The other rooms were concerned with chemistry, medicine, surveying and navigation, even a board with notes from Einstein himself could admire.

And then the afternoon was already over and we jumped into the (decently crowded) weekend nightlife of Oxford. Well actually already ended quite early had been formed before midnight, because after all clubs are still open, the snakes might have been an hour can not wait.

And then it was already day 3 and again the journey is almost over. 2-3 hours bus ride to come back to our airport. Quickly wrote a few postcards and the last pound spent we sat back too soon on the plane. And at the end of the day in Vienna had us again. Lovely. Short wars. But that was probably the attraction:)

Here are a few of the photos we took ... some are still missing. And many simply unclear as none of us have had a good camera on hand:
